Daniel is an executive search consultant focused on senior level searches for bilingual professionals with expertise in information technology, specifically in the converged telecommunications networking space. Daniel manages searches throughout Japan, China, Singapore and Korea and specializes in Regional Vice President, Country Manager, Sales Director and senior engineering positions.

Prior to joining Robert Leonard Consulting he was a Vice President at an international executive search firm headquartered in Tokyo. Daniel came to Tokyo in February 2000.

Previously Daniel worked as an engineer within the communications networking industry both in Australia and the UK. He managed large hardware implementation projects for clients such as Computer Associates, HSBC Bank, McGraw Hill, Discovery Channel and The City of London. He eventually ran his own company in London providing communications system integration services.

Having business experience in networking technology from the ground up, Daniel is quick to understand client's requirements and candidate core competencies. Daniel understands the various hurdles that foreign companies must clear while operating or breaking into the Asian markets. He approaches his business consultatively to add maximum value to each search that he manages.

Daniel is fully aware that the network of senior bilingual IT professionals is small and tight-knit in Asia. Daniel specializes in managing searches very confidentially and representing his clients with the utmost integrity in order to locate and attract the very best talent.

Daniel was born in Bristol, England, grew up in Melbourne, Australia, now has family in Japan and is a Permanent Resident of Japan. He has a BA from LaTrobe University in Social Sciences (Media Production) and an Advanced Diploma from The Photographic Imaging College (digital media production) Melbourne.
